Back in June we here at Limit Break Radio speculated about the changes being made in the June 2010 update to the Chains of Promathia expansion areas.
Pet Food Alpha has just released their follow up taking a look at the Chains of Promathia update now and what effects it’s had on Vana’diel as we know it. The show features Limit Break Radio’s host Viki as they take your comments, voicemails, and e-mails.
It’s finally here! The audio from the Youmacon 2009 Final Fantasy XI Podcast Panel is now available for your listening pleasure!
Listen in as Fusionx and Aniero discuss the history of Pet Food Alpha and Limit Break Radio. They also talk about their future collaborative effort with Eorzeapedia for the Final Fantasy XIV podcast: Aetheryte Radio.
We also got the chance to sit down with Robert Peeler and the newest member of the FFXI Community Team, Devin Casadey. We help introduce Devin to the community and get the chance to throw a few questions their way.

We mentioned a few episodes ago that TamTu had started a project he calls the Vana’diel Tribune Narratives that would be available to Star Breakers. Well, we wanted to let all you non-Star Breakers hear a sample of these amaizing pieces. So, here’s a freebie.
So, take it away TamTu:
“Introducing a series of narratives, I hope by making this series, I improve on my narratives and masking my Dutch accent ;p
A few years ago, PlayOnline Viewer had a incredibly fun section named called the Vana’Diel Tribune. Unfortunately they stopped writing articles from in-game characters’ point of views and my heart was broken.
I hope to give a little bit of more depth to the world of Vana’Diel by recreating some of them in audio! I’m starting off with the”Legends of the Constellations” series, and in particular the one of Shiva.
So I wanted to give you all a sneak peak at Episode 35 that is coming out this week. Check out this little 2 minute promo. On this episode we reveal our new contest, talk about Maat fights with Hyshio, read e-mails, iTunes reviews and much much more. Check out the preview promo by pressing play or for those that are subscribed to our RSS feed, get it there. Make sure to leave us to two year anniversary love on Voice of Vana’diel!
Several weeks ago I made an appearance on the latest Final Fantasy XI podcast to hit the scene, Level Down, from the awesome people over at VanadielProfiles.com. I’m sure everyone remembers Sesh from Episode 33, well he’s one of the four main hosts of the program along with Kixxi, Duel and Teila, they have a really fantastic show going on over there and it’s 100% totally worth your time to listen to! It was a great honor to come on to their pilot episode as a representative of Limit Break Radio. The pilot also
features Fusionx and Steak of Pet Food Alpha and we all discuss what it’s like to do a FFXI podcast as well as some of our personal background and show history. We have added the Level Down pilot episode to our RSS feed, so for those that are subscribed by iTunes, Zune or some other software will get the episode automatically, but don’t just stop there, Level Down has released their first full episode which is freakin’ awesome! Check out Level Down at www.vanadielprofiles.com/leveldown
A few weeks ago I was honored to be interviewed by Seshamaru and Kixxi of the website VandielProfiles.com on behalf of Limit Break Radio which has been featured as VandielProfiles.com’s ‘Who’s Who in FFXI’ segment. This interview was a lot of fun and gives a little bit of insight into what goes into making Limit Break Radio as well as the history and other various aspects of the show. I’ve added the audio interview to the RSS feed or you can stream it below. There’s also a text transcript of this interview available . I want to thank Seshamaru and Kixxi of VandielProfiles.com for featuring us, and also make sure to check out Episode 33 of Limit Break Radio which features our interview with Seshamaru!
-Aniero
Listen To Vana’diel Profile’s Interview with Aniero:
A few weeks back Aniero appeared on another fellow podcasters show called Geek Speak. Geek Speak is hosted by Bryan Carr and is broadcasted from 91.5 WMHW, meaning they’re not just a podcast, but an actual radio show! Being on Geek Speak was a pleasure and a blast! We talk about all manner of things, net neutrality, video games, and all kinds of crazy stuff! There isn’t much about Final Fantasy XI in this interview, but I thought you guys might like to take a listen anyway, so I threw it up on our RSS feed. Enjoy!
Last night I was honored by being a guest of the legendary Jester Court. The Jesters Court is a long running internet radio show/podcast that is over at w00t Studios that discusses many online games. Jester asked me on to discuss my recently released Documentary, Final Fantasy XI, Limit Break Radio, and various other topics including Val Kilmer (I apologize to Brando fan everywhere). Anyway, check it out, being on the show was a blast, I had so much fun. Make sure to check it out!
I’ve also included both The interview on The Jesters Court and the MMO Documentary on the RSS feed, so make sure to check your iTunes or however you subscribe.
