Level Down Episode 0 - It Begins...
Several weeks ago I made an appearance on the latest Final Fantasy XI podcast to hit the scene, Level Down, from the awesome people over at VanadielProfiles.com. I'm sure everyone remembers Sesh from Episode 33, well he's one of the four main hosts of the program along with Kixxi, Duel and Teila, they have a really fantastic show going on over there and it's 100% totally worth your time to listen to! It was a great honor to come on to their pilot episode as a representative of Limit Break Radio. The pilot also features Fusionx and Steak of Pet Food Alpha and we all discuss what it's like to do a FFXI podcast as well as some of our personal background and show history. We have added the Level Down pilot episode to our RSS feed, so for those that are subscribed by iTues, Zune or some other software will get the episode automatically, but don't just stop there, Level Down has released their first full episode which is freakin' awesome! Limit Break Radio: News & Updates
Hey there LBR fans!
Sorry we've been a bit behind recently. August is a transitional month as many of our long time listeners will know. Some of us are re-locating from our palatial summer estates to our humble hole-in-the-wall AKA Norg, others have been bogged down with news assignments that take up space and time with the editor, which is so crucial to the production of Limit Break Radio. And still others have spent time staring at colors on the wall that may, or may not, actually be there...Eru, buddy...I'm lookin' at you
So please accept my apologies for the sparse updates and lack of shows. Know that we haven't been eaten by Jormy, ripped in half by Absolute Virtue and had our weapons used as tooth picks by Cerberus. We are here, we're alive and not too worse for the wear. I would like to share some things that we have coming up here at Limit Break Radio.
The Rogue's Den - File02/Assaults/PrivateFirstClass: Kallo returns with his new series: The Rogue's Den. Kallo and Veloxe examine the second tier of assault ranks walking you through the Private First Class rank. They also tell you what is necessary for the rank mission as well as some of the rewards earned through assaults. Look for the new episode of the Rogues Den Saturday August 16'th!
Limit Break Radio's 2'nd year anniversary shows: Limit Break Radio is fast approaching our 2 year anniversary in FFXI podcasting. It's hard to believe that it's already been TWO freaking years, but here we are. So, for our two year anniversary Limit Break Radio is going to have another two part special. The first part will be recorded (we hope) in the next several days, so we can have it ready to be released on or around August 20'th, which is our actual anniversary (yeah, don't get your hopes too high guys) and will be focusing on the monumental achievement of obtaining the item 'Maats cap' with our long time friend Hyshio. Part two will be released sometime in September, just following the FFXI update, and we'll be talking with long time friend of the show and fellow FFXI podcaster Fusionx from Pet Food Alpha to discuss the Dancer job as well as have a discussion about his article How Long is Too Long? (see below). And that's just what we have planned! Who knows how it could go awry!
Aniero's appearance on the Level Down pilot: Recently the latest FFXI podcast, Level Down, has hit the scene releasing their pilot episode featuring Aniero of Limit Break Radio as well as Fusionx and Steak of Pet Food Alpha, as well as their first official episode! Limit Break Radio will be including the pilot episode on their RSS feed in the next few days, but until then head on over to www.vanadielprofiles.com/leveldown for all Level Down information, and dont forget to check out their first episode!
Limit Break Radio's Spectacular (kinda)Annual Platinum Extravaganza Edition Call-In Bonanza Special Vol. 2: Electric Bugbear Boogaloo: No we haven't forgot about this...we're working on setting aside some time to do another call-in special. We'll be selecting 3 days in September or October to have another call-in special. Be sure to check back here at Limit Break Radio this September for the official dates and times and how to register to participate in this years call-in special.
So that's what's coming up in the next few months here at Limit Break Radio. We have some other goodies and changes coming up that I can't talk about just yet, but know that we're working hard to bring you the best podcast and website that we can possibly provide.

Several days ago Pet Food Alpha host Fusionx posted an article entitled How Long is too Long? Fusionx examines the recent battle against the ZNM final notorious monster Pandemonium Warden undertaken by the Beyond The Limitation Linkshell. According to accounts players had to stop the battle because some players were becoming physically ill during the course of the unbelievable eighteen hour fight. With battles like Pandemonium Warden and Absolute Virtue, some have been prompted to ask How Long is too Long?.
